The partnership between e-commerce giant Flipkart and Uber is one of the most useful partnership for the user to get the product delivered in their door during the COVID-19 Lockdown. Many people across the different states of India were not being able to purchase the essential products during the lockdown as Amazon has also stopped selling their products considering their worker's safety.
"All these deals help in keeping people indoors so we can collectively support the government in helping contain the spread of COVID-19," Prabhjeet Singh, director - operations, and head of cities, Uber India & South Asia, in a Blog post.
Further, they have clearly said that they are selling only the essential products and also Uber said that they will not be charging any commission for this service and all the money earned through this delivery will be given to the drivers
"The company will also act in line with the guidelines set by the government. All drivers associated with the service will maintain the highest safety and hygiene standards", as the Uber blog.
Also one of the most popular e-commerce giants of Nepal 'Daraz' should learn from it and should establish such networks with ride-sharing services like TOOTLE and PATHAO so that the users can get their product delivered in their doorsteps considering the COVID-19 lockdown.
